I've seen numerous posts about how to fully derestrict it but unfortunantely it's illegal in my country. Is there a way to put a switch on the derestriction? One that would be easily accessible in case i get pulled over.

the issue you have is there is 2 parts to the restriction and there is i think 5 wires you could try unplugging the bridle under the seat and put a switch on the pink wire from the clock but I'm not telling you to do this in the uk when you turn 17 this is legal
